La Division du Temps calibres encompass high-end finishing as well as other refinements and deliver excellent long-term reliability. The logical design of each calibre facilitates ease of assembly and makes after-sales servicing less onerous.
The combination of aesthetic and technical attributes as well as exceptional quality deliver a competitive blend of exclusivity and reliability. The modular construction concept allows a wide range of functions to be added to different types of products.
Different levels of customisation are available to suit the client’s needs, equally valid for both classic and modern products.
All movements are extensively tested at various stages of production, ensuring products confer notable longevity. In-house manufacturing of most components (including the regulating organ produced by E2O innovations, a sister company of La Division du Temps) ensures control of the quality chain.
All movements are certified Chronofiable®. In addition, movements can be offered with COSC® certification on request.
The MSE and ASE calibres are top-of-the-range 100% Swiss Made mechanical movements. Located at the heart of a fine watch, they are infused with aesthetic and technical attributes as well as exceptional quality, thereby delivering a competitive blend of exclusivity and reliability. The modular construction allows a wide range of functions to be added to different types of products.

The MSE calibre is a manually wound mechanical movement distinguished by a patented modular plate that can accommodate an additional barrel (MSE – manual version) or a module with a micro-rotor (ASE – automatic version).
The double-barrel configuration allows the distribution of a powerful and regular force to the escapement, contributing to the overall precision of the movement. Its impressive power reserve provides up to 96 hours autonomy, enhancing the wearer experience. Moreover, the balance wheel with screws ensures precision and rate stability.
With the automatic version, the off-centre micro-rotor is thicker than a conventional oscillating weight typically found on a traditional movement. The extra thickness delivers mass and therefore compensates for the micro-rotor’s reduced diameter and thereby ensures excellent winding efficiency.
It is this impressive array of properties which make the MSE and ASE calibres excellent movements. In addition, they have both designed to accommodate various complication modules developed by the company’s in-house technical department. Examples of these include a power reserve indicator, positioned at 9:00 or 1:30 or a GMT function, which can be integrated within the movement without altering its overall dimensions.
